009 Distributor (Type 3)

This is the most common centrifugal advance distributor is the world for air cooled VWs. They work really well in place of the single advance distributor or when running any kind of aftermarket carb(s). We suggest you buy a compufire kit for this distributor as well. Without ignition points you can set your timing and forget about playing with the distributor for a couple of years. At this time the Bosch distributor is NLA. So we carry the Candian repro. The only thing we do to them is remove one sping.
