Engine Seals (Type 5)

This seal goes between the body and the engine. On all Bugs and Buses up to 1971 it's a good idea to install it before the engine is in the car. On Buses 72 on, you put it in after the engine is in. This is a very important seal since it keeps the heat exiting the exhaust from entering the cooling fan.
