Reduction Box Soft Plug
This large soft plug is on the back side of reduction boxes with the 46mm axle nut. A good way to remove this plug without ruining it, is to tack weld a nut to the plug and screw a slide hammer into the nut. Use the slide hammer to remove the plug. Grind off the tack weld and the plug is reusable. To seal the plug, we drive them in and use a bead of 3M glue around the outside, let it dry and your good to go.
