Well testing at the Redding track this last weekend went pretty damn good! It was great to gather some more info, which gets us that much closer to a better tune. Originally we had planned on getting the dragster tuned with a new mag so that we could race at the Hot Rod Nationals in Woordburn, OR. However, we found out that the class we were going to run got cancelled due to lack of dragsters. But we decided to test&tune anyways (without the new mag, of course) to prepare for Bugorama #72 at the end of the month.

We made two passes, managed to keep all 4 on the ground for the most part. Our best pass was 7.51 at 172mph! Both of our 60ft times were pretty consistent at 1.08 and 1.07. Overall we're pretty happy with the results and feel that we keep getting closer to finding the magic combination. Don't forget that IF/WHEN we get into the 6s (even 6.999) Steve is going to CUT OFF his ponytail in front of EVERYONE.

We're thinking about trying something else before Bugorama. We might drop the Nitro to 96% instead of 98% to see if we can get it to burn better without losing too much power. We might be at Redding Drag Strip testing the new theory on Aug. 17th. Our only concern is that Aug 17th is a "Street Legal" night and the track will not be prepped enough to fully launch and give us good readings. We will announce on our Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/WolfgangInternational) if we do decide to test again before Bugorama.

Other than having a good time with our dragster, we also had some fun with our local racers, friends, and customers!
