Description

If you have a lot of play in the steering don't just assume the steering box is bad. Jack up the front of the car and place jack stands under the front beam. Have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth, and look at the shaft that comes out of the steering box to see if it is moving sideways before it spins. If it moves it's bad.
