What sets our newly redesigned kit apart from the rest that are on the market?
We felt most Baja hoods have a hinge problem, meaning the springs are too stiff for the way the mounting is on most hoods. So we put in a reinforced inner structure that looks like the factory steel hoods to strengthen it.
Chopper gun fiberglass is cheaper, but doesn’t leave a nice finish.Hand laid is stronger and smoother, but more expensive. We decided to mix the two, with the last layer being hand laid. Our kits have a stronger, cleaner underside, and we are able to keep the price point in between the two different methods of laying fiberglass. Lastly, we liked the look of the one piece front ends, so we modeled our 7 piece kit after that.
