This is a bolt on kit that reduces torsional stress felt at the front of the nose cone mount and rotational stress on the bell housing mounts.
Made using ¼” thick steel plate and specially injected fail safe rubber mounts. It installs in one hour or less. NO CUTTING, DRILLING, OR WELDING REQUIRED! And no need to remove the transaxle for installation.
The steel saddle and cross mount plates are fastened with two high strength bolts that allow you to remove the transaxle without dismantling the unit from your bus.
The rubber mounts are molded with studs looped around each other born into the mount, so it is a compression mount one direction and a fail safe the other. They will never tear completely in half like stock mounts can.
All the needed hardware is included with this kit. It will work on stock reduction boxes as well as buses with T1 conversions.
Buses 1956-1967.
It will not work on split case transaxles or buses with earlier than March of 1956 (Chassis #171056).
