Description

Probably the most common cause of generator pulleys coming apart is the shortage of shims. It is very important that you have a total of eight shims. Whatever shims you don't use between the pulley halves, you need to use under the bell. If you don't, you're going to have problems. The belt can fall down between the pulley halves and appear tight but in fact there may not be enough pulley shims to tighten against. Therefore it can't tighten up and it will fly apart then you will have to buy another generator. Read GENERATOR PULLEY for more instructions. Sold each
