These are new hoses that are more resistant to Ethanol, meaning they last longer. This type of hose is what we now recommend.
Application:Night Stick Pro
This is a revised edition of the Night Stick shifter. We have sold a lot of the Night Sticks to racers and a few to street car guys. We asked a lot of question on how they liked them and what we could do to improve it. This is the result of that. Now there was a lot of machine work that had to be done to get this and hence the price had to go up a bunch. So here were some statements from people who had the OE non Pro one. "The throw is to short" Well on the Pro stick you can adjust it to your liking. If you look close you will see three holes on the stick and three holes on the towers. The lower holes (as pictured) is 40 percent shorter then a stock shifter. The middle holes are 50 percent and the upper holes will shorten it 60 percent. So you choose what is right for you. As far as i know its the only shifter you can adjust yourself. Another concern was "With a spring loaded fence for the reverse lock out, I'm afraid of hitting reverse if I bang second gear" So on the Pro stick we addressed that as well. We added a trigger you pull up with your little finger. This trigger has a cable that pulls a pin out of the fence, which now will allow the fence to move when you want reverse. When the trigger is down the pin locks the fence into the base plate. Last comment. "I was having trouble getting into second gear racing and was told man up and pull the handle. I did and bent the ball coming out of the shifter" With that we made a Josh stop on the fence so when you pull the shifter that hard the stick hits the stop and will keep Josh from bending the ball.
With all the improvements this shifter like the OE Night Stick will not function right if your shifter parts are wore out. You need to have good bushings on your shift rod coupler in the back. More important you need a tight shift rod bushing in the front. If you have play in these this shifter will not work right period.
One last note: for those of you who have purchased the OE stick and now want this stick I'm working on some kinda of exchange. I can not modify these sticks one at a time so will have to have to do at least ten at a time to do the mods. What I have been doing is putting people in touch with others that are ok with the OE Night Stick and letting you sell your old one to them, if you cant wait. In other words putting you in touch with them.
