The cam rides in these bearings. We have tried German and Brazilian brands and have had good luck with both. If you are running a 1776cc or bigger engine you should run double thrust bearings. Note: The bearings are installed with the widest one towards the pulley and the narrowest one towards the flywheel. Use oil on the bearings before installing the cam. On the double thrust bearings you will need to file off the tang on one side of the thrust bearing. Also test fit the bearing to the cam before installing. It might need some sanding on the trust of the bearing to get them to fit.
